Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately post insurance and patient payments (primary responsibility)
• Follow up on outstanding insurance clalims and patient accounts
• Answer billing-related patient questions
• Perform medical billing and coding for ophthalmology services as needed
• Assist with other billing and revenue cycle duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous medical billing experience preferred, but not required
• Medical coding experience is preferred, but not required
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Regular and reliable attendance
