$1,000 Sign-On Bonus for Certified Candidates | No Nights or Weekends

Slingsby & Huot Eye Associates is seeking a full-time Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COA/COT) to join our busy, well-established practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician looking to grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong clinical exposure.

What You’ll Do

  • Accurately interview patients and document medical histories
  • Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during visits
  • Perform advanced diagnostic testing, including:
    • Visual fields (HVF), tonometry, keratometry, lensometry
    • Pupil exams, muscle testing, and refracting
  • Maintain accurate records using EMR systems
  • Support efficient patient flow in a high-volume clinic
  • Travel occasionally for outreach clinic days

What We’re Looking For

  • COA or COT certification required
  • Experience in a fast-paced ophthalmology clinic
  • Strong knowledge of ocular anatomy, conditions, and medications
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
  • Surgical experience is a plus

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • No nights or weekends
